A city to live in not to visit

That is all I can say. New York is great and I wish I could live there. Maybe someday. This past weekend was great, it put a lot of things that have been on my mind into perspective. I am very happy and proud to be in a fraternity, I need to say that. People are not perfect, ideals and idea get refined while time changes and I am glad I can be a part of that.

I saw the movie "Whale Rider" at the Sunset theater. Amazing, it was a truly impressive movie. But I had to laugh at myself, .. because the theater is a independent Film theather and most people call it a "Indy theater." When i heard this, my response was. as i laughed... "So since it's indy, does that mean they sell Chai tea and biscotti instead of popcorn" Well not really instead, just in conjuction with. ha ha ha, it was so funny, and the worst part was myself. The movie is based on a Maori tribe in New Zealand,.. very good by the way... before the movie they had Maori Tribepeople do traditional dance. I watched, with a steamed milk Chai tea and the "Village Voice" folder properly beneath my arm. Enough said.

Anywho, my weekend was great, I'm not going to even attempt to write about the Puerto Rican day parade. I am still in overload from all the events, people and flags!
