Save the last post

Since I'm in NyC I've been thinking a lot about movies, filmed in the city. ... anyways.. I missed my last post. The computers I've been at lately could not access blogger! I missed the last post. No prob. Recap:

Drove to NYC with a friend, Keely on a whim to pick up Amy from the airport. Amy was flying in from England, home of her Finance. We've all been friends since grade school even though we haven't really talked since high school. This trip was a great chance to catch up.

The last week we've been bumming around the city. New Year's was good; we headed to Times Square, fought the masses, and pushed our way all the way to 54th and 7th. Still 12 blocks from the ball, but we saw it. We decided to jump out of the crowd since everyone was just pushing, yelling at the police for blocking us in. Once out, we headed to the Bronx for a party. Latin music, Pernil, and Marti Mojito shots. :)

I guess it's only fitting to post something about last year and thoughts about the one to come. Ok, let's see.... this year, was almost like last year. A million changes ... I moved from East Lansing to Delaware. Went to Philadelphia and NYC almost every month. Received a job from DuPont ... :) .. Went to Puerto Rico for about a month, and didn’t get tan. Came back to East Lansing, ... lost my car, ... apartment was broken into. Danced a lot of Salsa and Bachata. Met an amazing girl. We're dating and everything is going great. Except for the fact that she’s in Puerto Rico right now. I saw many of my best friends graduate, move away, get engaged and begin new chapters in their lives.

New year: This is the first time I've looked at the coming year with a bit of apprehension. I guess it's because, to be honest, I'm just a bit scared. Not like, scared were I need a ton of people to comfort me and tell me it's all going to be ok. Just scared because I know this year begins a completely different year. I'm going to move to a new city, far away. My sister will have a child, be married. Her life gets farther away from mine everyday. Miguel and Sam will both be graduating and moving ... to where is the big question. All my roommates will have graduated. I don't like to have everything planned, in fact. I prefer to be more spontaneous. But I can't fight the feeling. We'll see.

To the New Year and to the Past years. To all the friends I've made over the last year. I appreciate you all. I wish to see everyone soon.
