Wavering Financial Performance

When I started my 401k two years ago, my dad told me to let it go ... don't check up on it all the time .. and just keep putting money into it. Well, I almost did that .... but since I had web access I decide to look at it everyday. Lately, it has been going down down down. What is up! My plan to retire when I'm 31 is slowly coming to a halt.

Long awaited

I'm back, you know it! An update for everyone who wants to know a little more about what I am doing, and where I am doing it.

I recently started my job as a Logistics Specialist for DuPont Nemours Co. I work at the coporate office, in Wilmington, DE, as a direct report to the director of Global Logistics. Sounds fun? Well it is. In the picture below you can see the outside window of my office ... ah ... yes ... a window. I've been working in offices since my senior year of high school ... 98' and have never had an office ... to myself ... nor with a window.

I now live in Newark, DE. It's about 10 miles south of where I work. I moved in with two other co-workers that I also interned with. We have a 3 bedroom condo ... it's actually really nice. take a look ... and a moment to ou ... and ah?!

Certian things in life

There are certian things in life that I can't do with out:

Coffee in the morning, Times font, Sleep, Email .... and most of all Saloumeh. It's been almost 3 weeks now ... but time is really starting to drag. We spent so much time together during school ... and I have to be honest, she is probably the reason I was able to survive my last semester. She was always there to ... drinking coffee and Tea with me at 2am while we studied at the main library (ML). Right now she is back in Iran visiting family. She is having a good time. When she comes back, she will be in D.C. which is pretty close. Thanks for helping me so much last semester Saloumeh!

Anywho, I'm in my office right now, I've striantened my desk many times today. I'm getting ready to bring pictures and start decorating the place! :)

You can't handle the truth!

My blog has been in a state of statis. Maybe that's a good thing, since my life has been changing to fast to keep up with.

Quick recap for the past 30 days.

Moved to the East Coast and bounced back between DC and Delaware about 3 times. (Not bad at all. I had good company: Saloumeh)
Went to Las Vegas, lost some money gambling, got a little tan and eat a lot of food.
Flew to Chicago to meet my grandparents. Hadn't seen them for almost 3 years.
Drove back to Michigan and spent about 2 weeks hanging out with the folks, my brother miguel and the grandparents.
Flew back to Delaware to shop at IKEA and start work

whew! this seems to be just the normal month for the centellas boys. Miguel and Sam are both moving aswell ... both also cross country ... Miguel was actually across continents.

Today is also my first official work day. I got to work before 6:30am , am very tired ... but am looking forward for tomorrow's monthly celebration. Where we will stand around in a circle and read the August birthday's outloud and eat cake and dougnuts! :)
