Meatballs and Turducken

Start preparing for thanksgiving, "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turducken". Today, at work, we started off the morning with a great morning potluck, which somehow snowballed into a conversion on a previous work potluck meatball eating competition. Why haven't I been working here earlier. This is great stuff, I mean, I am somewhat small indivdual, but I can eat. I don't always eat a lot in one sitting, but I can do repititions. Anyways, I threw in my knowledge of Turducken, and it reminded me of the magical foods of holidays. A bird, within a bird, within a bird, slow roates with sausage filling and bacon on top. What a combination! If turducken is not speciall enough, I also recomment Osturduckencorpheail. What could be better than adding two more birds, game hen and pheasant. Bon appetit!

Perspectives

Not only did Revlon (NYSE:REV) drop to 1.09 at quarter to five in after-hours trading today, but also my mood dropped at about the same time. I think I am having a hard time sharing my personal perspectives with people. The way that I percieve the world and it's interactions must be different. Not to be specific at all, but this is causing miscommunications. I think I need to stand back a little and learn how to listen better and view situations from other perspectives. I'm more writing this as an open reminder, but feel free to comment. Also, I am not recommending to buy Revlon until it hit 1.04. That's my stock pick of the week.

Wow

I know, I know ... I can't explaing my lack of blogging. I really can't. I often want to, I'm frequently told to do so, but in the end it becomes an infrequent exercise. Well, today I write. I write about my new job, at Barclay bank as a project manager. Today is my third day. I'm writing at lunch ... don't worry, I'm not lazing on the job. It's strange for me to be working at another company. When I moved to Wilmington it was for DuPont. Most of my friends work at DuPont. I have grown to know the east coast and its business enviroment through DuPont. Now that that has changed, I am going to have to adjust. Which I know will be good for me and since it is a change I have wanted to do for some time now, I know I will ultimately be happier. The work enviroment is so great and different from my last job. So, wish me luck ... I may need it.
