Blog Iraq
03.28.2003If you're interested in reading other blogs from Iraq, I'd recommend LT Smash. It's a weblog updated by a reserve officer. He has a good writing style, witty, and wonderful observations. And no, he's not a gung-ho redneck. You can also read Sgt. Stryker's Daily Briefing, another soldier's weblog.
Actually, quite a few service personnel have weblogs and access to the internet. I even read an article about a unit of the 101st that networked their tents together so they could play Warcraft III.

No. LT Smash is the weblog of a reserve officer. I've read quite a bit of it, I certainly don't see why it would seem to be the work of the CIA. You do realize that US soldiers have access to email and the internet in general, right?
I'm always fascinated by people who think everything that disagrees w/ them "must be" a CIA plot. Conspiracy theories, conspiracy theories.

Midas:
how do you know it is a CIA project? Any evidence?
I mean, of course this war is also a war of propaganda but I think a claim like this needs some evidence to back it up.

hard to say if LT Smash is CIA. However, it is funny he asks for emails and his hit counter is in the >350,000. So...what does he do with all that information SENT to him.
Either way...it's a good read but keep an open mind and search more when confused...

Funny, I average about 400-500 hits per day and I still have time to read all my email.

It would be, in my opinion, of dire importance to spell the word disinformation correctly, portraying at the very least, a vague intelligence when your accusations border a tendency toward excessive or irrational suspiciousness and distrustfulness toward others, a psychosis otherwise know as paranoia. But what do I know? According to democrats, I as a US Soldier, a.k.a. poor farm boy apparently absent of any IQ worth a mention, I don't know a damn thing.
Always keep them guessing.
