Enjoyed the cartoon but we all know it is far more representative of the war/peace protestors.

Why do they not like peace anyway?

I think often it's not a question of whether we support peace, but what kind of peace. The peace of the grave? The peace of slavery (if no one rocks the boat)? What kind of peace do you prefer? And is "peace" worth any price?

I don't just want peace. I want a certain kind of peace. And I'm willing to risk great harm to obtain it.

When all you idiots start crying about your lost freedoms because of Patriot Act II, you'll realize the mistake you made. Keep up the protest! Peace.

I also wholeheartedly oppose the Patriot Act (in both its incarnations). I you'll also find that most of us so-called warmongers also oppose the Patriot Act.

But thanks for calling me an "idiot". Your vitriol just reinforces my opinion of a large portion of the anti-war protesters. Ironically, it coincides w/ the image in the cartoon.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but how does going to war w/ Iraq directly relate to the Patriot Act? Either one could easily exist w/o the other. In fact, I imagine that a world in which Hussein is free to roam around and a deeply isolationist country might actually strengthen the neo-conservatives who push for the Patriot Act.
