My phone rings this afternoon while I'm sitting at my desk. It's Evil Bill. In Kalamazoo. Not Japan.
Never mind that it's raining and I've a website to code. I head to Dan's shop to see my good friend, back in town for 48 hours. Just long enough to take some of his money at poker night, stalemate a round of chess, plan a game of Space Risk for tomorrow, and watch X2 the night's it's released.
In just over 24 hours, he heads back to Japan.

X2 is really cool. I'm sure you'll like it. I saw it a few weeks ago at a private showing for journalists and I think it's better than the first. I take it you're excited for the Matrix too?

Yo, I wish I was there to watch you guys play with an attitude of irritated boredom. Man, that makes me homesick.
Miguel, I want you to read my response to Emily's latest LJ post. I am just amused with myself about what an asshole I was to some girl I don't think I know.
