Dinner & Octavia

Went out to dinner last night w/ M to Osteria Pettiroso. Amazing pasta dishes. She had noodles w/ duck & chocolate sauce; I had mine w/ clams & shrimp. After dinner, they brought courtesy grappa shots. From there, we made our way to Equinoccio, running into Jay & Matthew, as well as gathering up M's friend.

Of course, I always like to see Octavia play. And Equinoccio's the best club in town for music shows. We got there just as the band was about to start its first set (12:15), but late enough that we couldn't get a table. But a great first two sets. Lot's of rockin' out. The place cleared up a bit before their third set, so we got to sit down. By then all the non night owls were tired. But everyone had a good time. None but I had ever seen Octavia before, or been to Equinoccio.

I managed a few shots of Octavia on-stage, playing. It's hard to get good shots from where we stood. And I was too busy singing/shouting along & dancing.
