Here's what Warren Ellis said to Mark Millar about Apple Computers....
"sure, buy yourself a cute little Apple. Then save yourself some time and money by throwing the fucking thing out of the window, going out again and getting yourself a proper bloody computer"

What is the story on that fantastic statue?

If you mean the statue of Juana Azurduy de Padilla, it's a fascinating story. Her husband joined the republican (pro-indepedece) guerrillas shortly after the 25 May uprising in Sucre. After the Spanish royalist repression, she fled w/ her young children into the Chaco desert to join the guerrillas. All her children died of exposure on the journey.
After that, Juana Azurduy joined the guerrillas, even leading a cavalry squadron. These guerrillas fought mostly coordinating w/ San Martin's armies. During the war, her husband was killed, and Juana took over leadership of the guerrilla armies in the region.
In one surprise battle, she was pregnant w/ her last child (the daughter servived the wars). Juana gave birth to the child, then mounted her horse, took the baby in her arms, and led a cavalry charge to break the royalist ranks.
In short, an utterly amazing woman. Though she died, forgotten & penniless in Sucre after the wars.

The airpost in Sucre is named after Juana Azurduy. I also heard a pretty good tango about her in Bs. As. That's how I actually first learned about her.

What a fascinating woman! Have there been films made about her?
Lovely pictures, by the way.

I don't know of any films made about Juana Azurduy. Though I'm sure she'd make for a great film.
