Back in Kalamazoo
08.09.2004Enjoying my first hectic days in Kalamazoo. Moving in, planning a massive redecoration of my apartment (deciding on a color scheme), getting my phone & cable activated, as well as spending time w/ friends.
Annie & Sophie, after spending most of a day hiding behind the kitchen stove, are finally getting used to their new home. They spent most of the trip across Michigan under my seat. Except for Sophie. Who's curiosity sometimes makes up for her lack of bravery (she crawled around looking out the windows).
Today I take the rental truck back, call my landlady about scheduling a day to fix my shower (I can't currently take a shower at my apartment). Then, I need to start shopping for decorating materials (paint, fixtures, cinder blocks). And lots of summertime moped rides around town.

hey miguel! i went by your house the other day to help you move in and i saw people taking stuff out so i didn't think that was your house. SO. i called your mothers cell # and she is just way too cute. she said you were probably at the coffee shop called 'rock star'. heehee... so cute.
so. i have something for you and need to bring it by. and i want to offer me and my car to help you get things you may need. as i don't know exactly what it is that you DO need.
