A good deal of progress today after just two hours, w/ a 5-paragraph intro to Chapter 1. If this continues, the rest of Chapter 1 should go pretty smoothly.

Meanwhile, I'm not keeping up w/ Bolivian events very closely. But MABB has a great post on today's Santa Cruz cabildo. Basically, a generous victory for Santa Cruz, w/ Mesa agreeing to hold direct elections for department prefects on 10 April.

Totally unrelated, Dad called to say he & Mom bought a house in Santa Cruz, for when they retire. He's pretty excited. And it's close to where we used to live, on Avenida Roca y Coronado (when I was a kid it was called Avenida Kennedy).

Now I'm off to meet Upson for a bite at Crow's Nest, before a late night writing marathon (thanks to a post 6-hour Rocket Star shift 4-hour mid-afternoon nap). Oh, and Battlestar Galactica coming up at 1am, of course.
