Pretty chill Sunday

03.20.2005

Made my way out of bed a bit past noon, fed my increasingly patient girls, before heading out into the mist & sleet. Headed downtown to Michigan News Agency to pick up the new print issue of Reason. The new New Republic was tempting, but I shrugged it off.

Then down to the new 1977 Mopeds, to see the progress before the grand opening, but no one was there. Eventually made my way back towards Rocket Star.

Took my time to write up a quiz, chatted w/ some friends/regulars, and skimmed a few pages of Reingeniería Constitucional en Bolivia by Carlos Böhrt (which, sadly, has no chapter on electoral system engineering).

It's also Palm Sunday, the start of the mad dash towards Easter.

I'm also enjoying the chance to try out the new Apple Pages app. So far, I like the look of what it can do (if I was interested in making gorgeous designed layouts). But it's not yet enough to get me to dump MS Word 2004 for everyday work (the "Track Changes" & "Comments" features rock).
