Oops?

Somehow, I can't log into Kaneda anymore. At least, not as myself (I'm currently logged in as Guest). Not sure what happened, but I'm looking for my Tiger disk for a password reset. Sigh.

So far, BBQ11 is going well. Only a few minor (and one major) mishaps. But seeing long-absent friends like Caleb & Marci and J. Edmund again is great. My house-guests are also extremely pleasant.

Meanwhile, back in Bolivia (more precisely, La Paz) things go from worse to worse and back to worse again. The protests are growing increasingly violent, and Mesa seems to keep hoping a hands-off, I-don't-want-to-say-one-thing-or-another policy isn't working. He's now refusing early elections, which is a potential solution; his insistence on staying in power (I wouldn't call what he's doing "governing") until August 2007 looks more ridiculous by the day.

I keep wanting to ignore events (it's so crushingly depressing), to focus on a fun holiday weekend w/ friends, instead. But I'm curious. And my mom travels to Bolivia (more precisely, Santa Cruz) less than two weeks. So I'm also concerned.

Anyhow, back to BBQ11 & fun events. And hoping I find my Tiger disk soon! Because I've all these great photos to upload.
