Boliviawiki update

Busy the last few days going through Bolivian cabinet personnel data. It's even less exciting than it sounds, but it does lead to interesting results, all dissertation-useful. So far, I've worked up through 1994, w/ much of that in a recent Bolivia Wiki update. That pretty much rounds out 70% of the pre-writing stage for Chapter 4.
By the end of this week I also plan to send out an newly-edited article for peer review, write a draft teaching philosophy statement for job applications, and email potential employees who'll be at the APSA conference 1-4 September.
Meanwhile, back in Bolivia, candidates are ramping up for December elections, which include elections for prefects (something like state governors). For various reasons, the elections are expected to be monumental. None of the historical parties are expected to do well; some have yet to field candidates. The real problem, I predict, will be prefect elections (more on that later).
