Was he riding when he was hit by the car?

Yes, he was riding. I wasn't there, but I hear he was stopped, and a large vehicle (Jeep? SUV? Blazer?) tore down the road at 60+ mph, almost ran over two other people, then plowed into him from behind & dragged him quite a ways, and then just drove away into the dark night.

That's appalling. Perhaps someone could write to the Kazoo Gazette, possibly have a story written about it? Maybe fam or friend or acquaintance of driver reads it, calls police, etc.

"You man driving his well-lit moped along kazoo city streets was run down by a motorist, who sped away from the scene after dragging the young man and his moped half a city block. The victim is recovering ..."

That's been done. But I think too many people are now focusing on that issue (which in my opinion is a non-starter). I'd rather just keep his spirits up & focused on other matters, especially now that his insurance is covering the bills.
