Tum ta tum taah, dum da DAAH!
08.02.2006K8 & I went to see Raiders of the Lost Ark last night at the Music Box Theater in Chicago. I've never seen the film in 35mm on such a large screen. I felt like a kid again. We both had a great time. It was the perfect ending to fried bologna sadwiches at a biker bar (Twisted Spoke) & soft serve dip cones from Dairy Queen.
Today it's her birthday. And it's too hot for anything but DVDs & air-conditioning (though tonight we're headed to dinner at Tango Sur, an Argentine steakhouse in Lincoln Park). The DVDs were my choice; the parameters were "something you pick, and a romantic comedy." What did I pick? The Hidden Fortress & How To Marry a Millionaire. Gotta go w/ the classics, eh?

Es bueno poder mirar unas peliculas en casa, yo acostumbro mirar DVD, los fines de semana, y cuando hay una buena pelicula en el cine me gusta ir a pasar un tiempo, ahora tenemos el cine center, es muy grande tienen 12 salas de cine en el mismo lugar, ya los demas cines quebraron por este lugar solo queda uno mas funcionanado... muy malo, no?

Uy, que pena, che! Es bueno tener un cine con 12 salas. Pero si los otros teatros quebran, al fin se quedan con el mismo numero de pantallas de antes. Que lastima, che. Cuales quebraron? Yo tengo lindas memorias de niño ir al Florida y al Palace.
