kitchen was dark and boring. The flooring is in pretty bad shape.

threw a rug on the floor, painting some of the paneling, and it
brightens it up a lot. |

Of
course this was empty, nice to see it so sparkly clean when I moved
in. |

Not
that I got that much... but I at least have the basics. Yes that
is a big box of pudding... |

It
took me a long time to figure out what to do in this room. I took
off all the window treatments right away... ugly... |

I
figured out where I wanted all my stuff to go, I just needed to
find the right color walls to pull it all together. I got a missed
tint at the paint store, I call it... "Safari Khaki." |

This
corner was perfect for my bakers rack. Thankfully I still have those
bar stools from the Firehouse cause they fit perfect at my counter. |

There

That
wall paper boarder nearly made me cry, and so did the crooked light
switches. |

I
straightened out light switches and painted. The counter makes a
great place to quickly eat and not have to dirty my table. |

Brown
carpet, brown paneling... I need to bring this room back to life. |
