I hope the quiz was easy enough for everyone. I'll have them graded by next Tuesday.

On your reading for Thursday, pay close attention to Hobbes, Locke, and Paine especially. Read all the readings in the schedule, of course, but pay special attention to these three. Try to pay special attention to their differences, as well as their similarities. Although all three are clearly liberals, they do have their differences. Use the textbook to help you understand their place in history.

Finally, please do call me Miguel. I'm not really all that formal a person and I much prefer being referred to by my first name.

So study group, aren't you glad that we studied a whole bunch of stuff that we didn't have to?! I suppose we should have focused more on the obvious, oh well. I am sure that you all did well! It was nice meeting you ladies anyhow. Hope that you are feeling better Mr. Centellas!

Good luck to all on the quiz tomorrow. I promise it won't be so bad. I'm glad several of you got together for a study group. I'm sure it'll help. I would've stopped by, but I've been sick the last few days and wanted decided to stay home.

Also, check the paper assignment. I reduced the number of pages to 10, so that should make things easier, eh? Let me know how things are going w/ the paper assignment, as well as w/ the readings.

Good Luck to everyone tomorrow. I'm sure we'll all do well!

I think I will join you guys tonight as well.
