Question from class today. Did members of the Nazi party know who the members of the SA were, and did the members of the SA know who the members of the SS were? Where they sort of secret societies or was it more open to as who was in what group?

Facist is easy. Look sort of "militia"-ish. Italian facists wore black button-up shirts and ties (very military looking). Same for Nazis, except that their party militia wore brown shirts (the SS wore black shirts), and also looked military-ish. Spanish facists wore blue shirts in the Italian style.

I'll give 2 extra credit points (that's 2 percent of your final grade, mind you).

this could be fun, suit and tie for conservative, your wildest tie dye for liberal, scrubby work clothes for socialist, but I am at a loss for fascist... any ideas?
KCA

can you give us an example of what would make a convincing costume and how much extra-credit is involved? I'll do it, but i do have to endure the mocking of fellow students for two other classes :-)

I was asked to give you more extra credit. So here goes ... if you dress up as some sort of ideological figure for class tomorrow (it is, after all, Holloween), I'll give you some extra participation points. But your costume better be convincing.

Maria: A student in my International relations class did his oral news presentation on that. The leader Kim Jong had said that they kidnapped the Japanese as part of an effort to educate North Korean spies in the Japanese culture and language. Strangely They even said one person died of suicide during treatment in a mental hospital. Anyhow Thats just awfull.

** To anyone, If there are any evening study groups getting together this week let me know!

I know this has nothing to do with our Ideology class, ...but since our class is one of the " Political Science " classes... Mmm... has anyone heard what's going on between Japan and North Korea ? It is about the " ABDUCTION " that happened about 24 years ago. There are not much coverage in the US media, but it has been a huge news in Japan. 24 years ago, North Koreans kidnapped like 30 people ( that I know of ), and 5 of them are finally found alive last month. Since they were kidnapped they were beaten-up and brainwashed so that they would obey the Kim-jon-IL government. Those who were found alive ( 5 of them ) are now visiting their relatives in Japan, though their kids and other family members were not allowed to leave Noth Korea with them.
I just don't know WHY North Korea would do such a thing. I have heard others who were abducted are said to be either dead, or there were no such person existed ( by the North Korean government ). They even said the people who got kidnapped died in a car accident, and they buried their bones by the dam and it was floated away in the flood ! What a cheesy lie ! I really can't help myself being emotional about this whole thing, because I have lived half of my life in Japan...

- I know this is off topic, and I apologize. I just wanted to speak out my mind.

Thanks for extending the deadline for our paper ! I really appreciate it. UE_EU
