SUMMER RACING 2005
The GXE got to run two races for me this summer. I ran one in HS and took second! That was a great day and out of 12 cars I worked my way to 2nd place, my best finish to date!

The first two pics are from an AutoCross at GVSU in Allendale. I have run there three times now. This is when I placed 2nd out of 12 cars. I ran in Kumho Exstas and everything else was straight stock. I was impressed with how she did on the course.

At the GVSU AutoX my friend Jennifer also came for her first race. She ran her Ford Focus STS and did very well for her first time. Maybe next year we can both get to more races, I know I want to get the GXE out more then twice!

The second two pics are from an AutoX in Kalamazoo at the K-Wings Stadium. It was a lot of fun, only 5 cars in my group but I did place 3rd which was not bad considering the fastest car of the day was in my group.

I had trouble with my Kumhos and ran on some cheap no name brand tires, the ones that came with the car. I slid all over the place, one time I even spun a complete 360 Degrees!

A short racing season, only two outings... next year new mods and faster times!
